Membership information

MANAGEMENT SCIENCE INSTITUTE™ provides first class training by professionals in all areas of business and provides Ohio construction trades training for State recertification. Management Science Institute™ also provides customized management training and training for skilled trades in construction, manufacturing, and service businesses. But, MSI is more than just a training agency. MSI is an association of professionals who share an interest in the science of management and the belief that the educational process does not end when a degree or professional certification is earned.

There are no specific educational or experience requirements for membership in MSI.  Most MSI members have a professional license or other certification, a degree, or substantial experience and expertise in their respective fields. There are no membership fees or dues for an Associate level membership.

ASSOCIATE MEMBER

To become an ASSOCIATE member, you must:

 - Complete the on-line membership application application,

 - Submit a resume to MSI, describing experience and educational background.

 - and one of the following -

- Submit one or more articles or other original work related to the science of management or other area that may be of interest to other MSI members. Articles accepted by MSI will be published by Management Science Journal in print and on the World Wide Web. The author will assign copyright privileges for the work to MSI.

  - Agree to act as an advisor to MSI in you area of expertise. Provide a written statement of your intent to serve as an advisor to MSI. Your statement should clearly describe the area or areas in which you will serve as an advisor to MSI.

We accept documents in plain text or PDF format only.  Please do not submit documents in any other format.   Our mail servers will filter out e-mail with attachments in any format other than plain text or PDF.

Membership certificates are available in sets of two for $25/set plus shipping.  Certificates are suitable for framing.

PRINCIPAL MEMBER 

To become a PRINCIPAL member, you must:

 - Meet all the requirements of an Associate member

 - Teach one or more MSI courses. Note: MSI trainers are independent consultants who offer courses through MSI. Provide a copy of the course syllabus and a written statement of your intent to offer courses through MSI.

 - Make an annual contribution of $275 (US) or more to MSI.

Once your application has been received, it will be reviewed by MSI and you will be notified of your acceptance as a member.  Members will, unless we are instructed otherwise, may have their name listed in the MSI member directory and published in Management Science Journal.
